Holiday Turducken Preparation Tips

Instructions


To prepare from thawed or frozen:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Simply unwrap your turducken and place in large roasting pan.
  3. Cover with a lid or foil.
  4. Roast at 350 for approximately 5 ½ to 6 ½ hours or until done. Uncover for last 30 minutes to brown it nicely.

  6. You'll know it's done when the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. We highly recommend using a meat thermometer to check doneness.
  7. Poultry is well done when the internal temperature in the middle of the bird reaches 180 F.
  8. Remove from oven, let stand covered for 20 minutes prior to carving.
  9. You can make gravy from the drippings too. Carve and serve.
  10. Serves approximately 30 hungry people! Enjoy!
